LinkedIn Ads AI Tools 2026: 5 New Features for +20% CTR

What are LinkedIn Ads’ new AI tools?

On July 1, 2026, LinkedIn rolled out five new AI-powered tools inside Campaign Manager: Brand Kit, Draft with AI, Ads Personalization, AI Ad Variants, and Flexible Ad Creation. The goal is letting any B2B marketing team generate, personalize, and test ads in minutes, without relying on a designer or agency for every variant.

Here’s the number that makes this worth acting on now: according to LinkedIn’s internal analysis, accounts running five or more variants of the same ad see more than 20% higher CTR than those running a single creative. If your B2B SMB spends on LinkedIn Ads, that changes exactly how much you pay per click and per lead.

The 5 AI tools in Campaign Manager, explained

Brand Kit: brand consistency without reviewing every ad

You set your colors, typography, logo, tone of voice, and key messages once. From then on, everything the AI generates automatically follows those rules. For an SMB with no in-house design team, this avoids the classic problem of AI-generated ads that «don’t look on-brand.»

Draft with AI: your first ad from your website URL

You enter your site’s URL, the campaign objective, and some business context, and the AI generates a full first draft. It doesn’t replace human review, but it removes the blank page: you go from zero to an editable starting point in seconds.

Ads Personalization: the same message, tailored by role and industry

This is the most relevant one for B2B: it adapts your copy based on professional attributes like the recipient’s job title, company, and industry. The same product can be pitched differently to a CFO than to an operations manager, without building separate campaigns by hand.

AI Ad Variants: multiple versions ready to test

It automatically generates several versions of the same ad for real A/B testing. This is the tool directly tied to the +20% CTR figure: more well-targeted variants, better aggregate campaign performance.

Flexible Ad Creation: more formats generated automatically

It expands the formats available for automated generation (image, carousel, text), so you don’t have to manually rebuild each creative for every format.

Why +20% CTR matters more on LinkedIn than on other platforms

Cost per click on LinkedIn Ads tends to be the highest among social platforms, precisely because it’s the only one with native B2B targeting by job title, company, and industry. Any CTR improvement translates directly into a lower CPA. And if your organic reach on LinkedIn has already been dropping -something we cover in detail in our guide to the 2026 LinkedIn algorithm– spending your paid budget more efficiently becomes more urgent, not less.

How to activate the AI tools in your account this week

  • Open Campaign Manager and go to the ad creation section: the new AI options appear right in the campaign creation flow.
  • Set up your Brand Kit first, before generating any ad, so everything else inherits your brand rules.
  • Use Draft with AI with your main landing page URL to get a first draft.
  • Turn on AI Ad Variants and aim for at least 5 variants per campaign, the threshold LinkedIn ties to the CTR jump.
  • If you sell to different roles (CFO, procurement manager, IT), try Ads Personalization to adapt the message without duplicating campaigns.

One caveat before automating: transparency and human review

Google already requires labeling AI-generated or AI-edited ads across several formats, as we explain in our guide to Google Ads’ AI labeling rules. LinkedIn doesn’t explicitly require this yet for these tools, but the regulatory trend points that way. Always review the final copy before publishing: AI speeds up production, but legal and brand responsibility still sits with you.

What to do with the leads you start generating

More CTR and more ad variants usually mean more leads coming in from different message angles. If you’re still tracking them in a spreadsheet, now’s the time to organize that flow in a CRM. Our guide to building a HubSpot CRM from scratch shows how to do it without hiring a consultant.

The rollout of these five tools is recent, and competitors aren’t using them at full capacity yet. B2B SMBs that test them this week have a short window to lower their cost per lead before it becomes the category standard.
